I lived in Japan for several years, where I worked in hospitality and education.  This experience provided me with a deep understanding of hospitality, particularly through the concept of omotenashi, the Japanese philosophy of selfless and anticipatory hospitality. Omotenashi goes beyond service; it’s about delivering a thoughtful, personalized experience that makes each guest feel genuinely valued and cared for. This is a concept that I have applied throughout my career. 

After years in the language industry as a teacher, translator and course developer, I became inspired to create learning solutions. I have a BA in business management and a master's degree in digital technologies, communication and education from the University of Manchester, England.  I believe in Integrating technology with the principles of omotenashi to elevate hospitality and guest experience, by blending personalized, anticipatory service with the efficiency and convenience of modern innovations.
